Mauawiyah Digital Marketing currently operates as a sole-trader business (not a limited company).
All contracts are therefore entered into personally with Dr. Mauawiyah Hussan.
2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms cover both:
- Website Use – browsing, reading content, downloading resources, and contacting me.
- Professional Services – when you engage me for digital-marketing, consulting, or related services.
Some clauses apply to both website visitors and service clients; others apply specifically to one group.
3. Acceptance and Legal Capacity
By using this website or requesting services, you confirm that you:
- Have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
- Are aged 18 or over (or have parental/guardian consent).
- Have legal authority to act on behalf of any business you represent.
- Agree to the accompanying Privacy Policy and any other referenced policies.
If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
4. Services Provided
Mauawiyah Digital Marketing provides:
- Website design, development & conversion strategy
- Search Engine Optimisation (technical, on-page, and off-page)
- Google Ads / PPC campaign management
- Social media marketing & advertising
- Content creation & copywriting
- Digital-marketing consultancy and performance analysis
A detailed written proposal is issued before any paid work begins.
5. Proposals and Agreements
- All projects begin with a formal written Proposal or Service Agreement setting out scope, deliverables, timescales, and fees.
- Work begins only once written acceptance and any required deposit have been received.
- Changes to scope, timing, or fees must be confirmed in writing by both parties.
Any verbal discussions are for guidance only and are not contractually binding unless confirmed in writing
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide timely information, access, and approvals.
- Ensure supplied materials comply with all laws and third-party rights.
- Respond promptly to queries and feedback requests.
Delays caused by missing information may extend project deadlines.
7. Payments and Fees
- Fees are specified in each proposal.
- Invoices are payable within 7 days unless stated otherwise.
- Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 at 8 % above the Bank of England base rate, plus reasonable recovery costs.
- Deposits are non-refundable once work commences. Partial refunds may be issued solely at our discretion before substantial work has begun.
- Work already completed is non-refundable; discretionary refunds may apply only before work starts.
- Payments accepted via bank transfer or PayPal.
- All fees are in GBP and include VAT (if mention /applicable).
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Website Content
All text, graphics, and materials on this site belong to Mauawiyah Digital Marketing or licensed sources.
You may view or print brief excerpts for personal or educational use only with clear attribution.
8.2 Client Work
- You retain ownership of any original materials you provide.
- Upon full payment, you own the marketing materials and deliverables created for your business.
- I retain ownership of methods, templates, and know-how used to create that work.
- Portfolio Use: I may display completed work as examples unless confidentiality was agreed in writing.
All website content, text, graphics, logos, and design are protected by copyright law. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
9. Confidentiality and Privacy
Both parties must keep confidential any non-public information shared during our relationship.
Your data is handled in accordance with my separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or £100 for website-only use—whichever is lower.
- I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
- Claims must be brought within 12 months of the cause arising.

15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mauawiyah Digital Marketing and Dr Mauawiyah Hussan from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our website or services.

- Your use of the website or services for unlawful purposes.
- Infringement of third-party rights caused by materials you supply.
16. Termination
Either party may terminate a service agreement with 30 days’ written notice.
Immediate termination may occur for:
- Material breach of these Terms, or
- Illegal or unethical conduct.
Upon termination:
- All fees for completed work remain payable.
- Access credentials and materials are returned or deleted as agreed.
- Confidentiality obligations remain in force.
17. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you wish to raise a complaint:
- Email hello@mauawiyahdigitalmarketing.com with “COMPLAINT” in the subject.
- You will receive acknowledgment within 7 business days and a response within 14 business days.
- If unresolved, you may seek independent mediation or legal advice.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
All disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the UK Laws, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
18. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms periodically to reflect legal or business changes.

Continued use of the website or services after such changes indicates acceptance.

19. Entire Agreement
